Using Textkiln
Textkiln provides free tools for analysing, converting and checking text. You may use them for personal and commercial work. You keep all rights to the text you process; because processing happens on your device, we never receive it.
No warranty
The tools are provided “as is”. We work hard to make them accurate, but counts, readability scores, grammar suggestions, citations, conversions and other results can be wrong or incomplete. Check important results yourself: especially citations, legal or financial figures, and anything with a hard limit or deadline. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the tools.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Textkiln to break the law, to attack or overload the site, or to infringe other people’s rights. Tools that extract email addresses or redact data must be used in line with privacy and anti-spam laws.
Open-source components
Textkiln includes open-source software under its own licences, listed on the About page and in the project’s dependency records.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
